you could invest in sport psychologist. Nothing wrong in that. Might help you rise beyond.
It would be awesome to watch you try some of the most iconic hard routes like 'Sleeping Lion', 'Bibliographie', 'Perfecto Mundo', 'DNA', etc... You got this man!
do a comp for fun brev, continue to record it, but if you hate the results, noone is going to make you upload it??
Slow motion shots of the coordination moves would be great!
A climing camp with kids with route setting
Would love to see lead video too. But any climbing video is really fun to watch.
My suggestion for this channel is to make this channel for YOU. ❤ make the videos you want to make😁
This is the best kind of video for me from you. Just climbing :)
Who would have thought our Orwelian nightmare would come creeping in through UA-cam and this channel. The word is "killed" not "unalived"
I would love to see more videos with female climbers! On your channel and UA-cam generally it's sad to see how little the women are put forward...
Bouldering! Its way more interesting to watch than lead
Incredible collaboration video, i love it!!! Both guys are super cool. I am 43 and i feel a connection with them age-wise, especially to David. How can you be so strong at that age? Utter respect! Also David's course is great, super good, it's helping me a lot.
4:50 Hi magnus you are amazing! maybe it would help you to talk about these things with a therapist, it might really Benefit you ^-^hope to see you get over the preassure you are putting on yourself!
I like the climbing vlog style. I started watching your channel to see you do hard boulders. The videos on your main channel are fun, but I honestly prefer this channel more.
Any boulder is fun to watch you solve and this format of videos is incredibly nice, keep em up!
if you want to not be worried about a comp placement find someone who is much worse than you and take them with you. i’m washed up and could barely climb a v5 if i tried and in my hay days i was projecting 8 and 9. my dad still owns the same gym but i’ve become much more lax. i compete in the open division (which means i am at the bottom of the category at the end most of the time.) of almost every comp but im just there to so how far i can take my skin before i bleed🤣 all for fun is the key man.
Training - Training - Training - u asked...
Would love if you told the grades in a V scale as well.
This is awesome. Love this style and how natural it feels. Keep it fun!
I'm going to update my channel name to Less Magnus. I mean, it wouldn't be lying.
I think we all like the old school climbing vids. There's enough reaction videos out there lol
we love these type of videos more!!!
As someone named Sam, at the end when you fist bumped and said, "Thanks Sam!" Was embarrassingly fulfilling
This video gave me happy feels. It reminded me of when I found your channel. That said, I am sorry that comps still give you so much anxiety. Can you use a fake persona for the comps? If you can do you think it could help? Either way, however you use this channel I think will be therapeutic for you and we will support you, so feel free to try lots of stuff out.❤
A gym next to waterfalls 😮
Magnus vs monkey please
REALLY REALLY REALLY like this channel as it currently is! Super natural and sincere. Also like how you are talking with the viewer. Feels like going on a climbing session with you. Keep this up Magnus!!
I hope this channel keeps being one where you can post chill climbing vlogs like this or any climbing content you want to do. Love it
Those were some really cool boulders!
Hey magnus really cool Video! I actually like outdoorclimbing so yeah more of that would be amazing ❤
Would really enjoy a project series. Maybe something that takes multiple sessions to complete. Would love to see the progress on it and build up.
Love this video
love the climbing content on herre
Alex Handhold
Bruh youre the first inspiration that got me really into climbing and these climbing videos is was got me really tuned into your channel....ROLE MODEL. LOVE THOS VIDS
I think this channel is fine as a "grab bag" channel. I kind of think that's how everybody should do it: what channel to attract an audience, and another for people who are here for you. I tend to follow people who's personality I like, but it's usually something interest8ng that attracts me to their content in the first place. if I don't like the personality, or maybe the premise (such as people who do compilation videos purely the profit from else's work), I use the "don't recommend channel" option. but, if I do like their personality I'll usually watch everything they put out, even if the topic is not necessarily something I would have thought I would like previously. for example the channel Ballet Rein did a video covering a Muppet Show episode featuring a famous ballet performer... I have loved the Muppets since I was a kid. I've never, ever, had any interest in ballet. I find myself watching their videos about ballet, do I have kind of had a passing interest with climbing, acrobatics, and gymnastics. turns out ballet is just an artsier form of gymnastics... they have different names for things, but it's all basically the same moves and in a lot of cases more extreme body control. ballet dancers have to hold poses for what looks like excruciatingly long periods of time, where gymnasts move through the poses to get to the next routine.
it's too bad UA-cam doesn't have a background music cancellation tool for public situations where you can't control the background audio... it would have to function just like noise cancellation, using the target song to create an opposite version of it. what really sucks is that technically, because you're in a public situation, it legally counts as "fair use" (here in America anyway) but UA-cam doesn't consider that if somebody makes a claim, which I get, otherwise they would have to have an actual person review each case.
The route at 6:40 is actually pronounced "watashi no ie" (私の家) meaning "my house."
We definitely more lead Climbing videos, its all about bouldering out there! It’s probably tickier to film but those old videos of you climbing 8a (and above) routes indoor were just so fun to watch!! Insane how seeing someone Climb a full route keeps you on edge!! Anyways, I love this second Channel and thanks for keeping creating wonderful content for us :)
I like watching a lot of climbing stuff on this channel❤
When you try new gym in other country it's always amazing, but also when you interact with people of other sport trying climbing 😊 you are more like a teacher and it's super nice to watch ^^ If you want to do rope climbing, feel free to come at Copenhagen "copenhill" we are super curious to see you trying the wall with my girlfriend 😜 (we live in front of it hahaha)
Make your content everything. Focus on climbing though
Magnus should talk to Dr K
Come.on magnus ❤
Concerning competing Magnus, you will always feel pressure. You know that a lot of people look up to you, and you'll never want to let them down. It is not in your character. It's one of the reasons that we like you. So, when competing, you will always feel pressure to perform at a high level. I would offer this advice. If you had fun competing, do it again. If you don't perform well, forgive yourself and explain that it wasn't your best and why. Your watchers learn from your mistakes as well as your successes. Also, absolutely every competitor in any sport performs poorly at times because nobody is perfect. Up-and-coming competitors will learn more from your failures if you teach them why you failed. The one thing I know about you is that lack of success won't be from a lack of effort.
100% love the chill climbing vlog style. I wasn't fully onboard with this channel being just a react channel, but I had to sub once the old style climbing vlogs came out again. I really enjoy just hearing you break down climbing beta, talking about your own progress (on climbing/youtube/etc.), and hearing your self-reflective thoughts. Feels like your personality comes out a bit more naturally in these videos than in the main channel videos and I really vibe with it. Hopefully you enjoy making these videos too, keep up the great work Magnus!
maybe you could just set your workout session to the japan format. get a score card but just for yourself and just climb the boulders you like. i really like watching you approach boulders your excited about and seeing you figure them out.
Definitely miss lead climbing
The best climbing youtuber in the world, keep it up Magnus
