The channel is going into a great direction alerady. I love all the collabs the most tbh, weather it's with other pros, or with 1st timers or amateurs they were all great. I also love all the outdoors stuff, idc what modality. Seeing you competing was fun aswell btw, was a great video. But ultimately my best piece of advice is to remain true to yourself, it is what brought people around. You are the content!

Been watching for years. Like others have commented, I would like to see more of the stuff you used to do with friends and family. This one didn't do anything for me, though. I don't think this style is for you, and I'm not trying to be insulting.

I dont climb anymore and didn't really do loads to begun with so I maybe wrong when I say that Dave really doesn't get the credit he deserves. E11, 9a, v15 (?) X1 11.... is there any other climbers out there that have climbed the hardest routes in all disciplines?? Everyone always bangs on about Adam ondra and obviously he is unreal but can he climb the hardest Scottish winter mixed routes?

@5:06 ... Honestly i think this level of competetiveness comes from a lack of low self worth. You feel bad because you make your worth depenend on your performance and how other people see you. At least this is how it is for me and it is a huge struggle to overcome this coping mechanism. But this is why i love climbing so much. It uncovers so much about your mentality. Interesting to see how much this can push you forwards ... i mean Magnus is an accomplished UA-cam and Climber and still struggles with this kind of stuff. Just shows that nothing will ever change without self awareness and shadow work.

I love watching all the different types of content you like to put out. Bouldering and climbing is something that I'd like to tackle to help me get back into better shape. I used to love climbing small cliffs when I was a teenager, and I have absolute respect for the level of fitness you have to have to do what you do. Inspiring stuff to watch.

The lines in this I personally loved the most were: "I'll try it on top rope." "Once you do it on top rope, you'll want to lead it." After: "There is no way I'm leading this." It's nice, once in awhile, to see someone way better than me react to something the same way I would.

"Yeah I dont like that this gym doens't have grades" *a few moments later * "my sister is the head routesetter" hmmm ahah

The young man you had in jujis vid who was like 110 lbs I'm over 6' by a few inch but about as skinny as that guy mentioned above cuz I'm 150 lbs Ive never been on a wall like that only climbing I've done is trees It looks almost impossible to hold n keep hips close in some of those positions you do on the wall

Hey Magnus. I noticed you talking about the pressure and the fears you have about your performance in comps. As a therapist, I've noticed that many of my athlete clients that compete deal with similar things. What has helped many of them isn't saying, "I should just not care," or "I should just stop thinking this way," but rather accepting the fact that they do feel and think the ways they do. Acceptance of the pressure, acceptance of the fears, and acceptance of the thoughts helps them investigate what it is about their performance that is really important to them. "Why do I think this way? What's really at stake here? What am I hoping will happen and what am I hoping to avoid?" All of these questions can help them understand themselves and their experience a little better, allowing their core fears to become conscious. Once they understand what their thoughts and fears are telling them, they can see those things as merely thoughts and feelings and can choose how to engage with them rather than believe in them wholeheartedly. Many of my clients actually learn how to transmute the fear they experience into energy to aid their performance.

If you're going to enjoy comps and can do it for the fun you should get into some local one's, but if it's just going to bring you stress then leave it - do whatever makes you happy and fulfilled

Living by the algorithm is hard, I imagine you'll probs think about what videos will work on the main channel and so... An extra channel is an opportunity to make the videos you wanna make Magnus!
